- How far is the Casa Bella Vista from Cairns?
Casa Bella Vista is located at Holloways Beach, over looking the Coral Sea, only 10 minutes drive from Cairns Airport and 15 minutes from Cairns central.
- Is there easy access to the beach?
The palm tree lined sandy beach is directly in front of the home. It is just a few steps to the well maintained green parklands on the beachfront. A safe swimming enclosure for during the summer months, a playground and beachfront café are just a stroll away.
- Do we need a car ?
Whilst a car is not essential, there are so many wonderful places to discover, it is definitely worth having a car.
Our local cafe, bar and restaurant, Strait on the Beach is only a short stroll along the sand and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There are take away and convenience stores within walking distance of the home. A large shopping complex in Smithfield is only a short drive away.
The local sunbus may be hailed from in front of the house on Mathew Street to go into Cairns or North to the shops in Smithfield.
- Are there day trips from Cairns?
There are numerous day trips from Cairns and the home is centrally located to all numerous major tourist attractions. The Aboriginal Culture Centre, botanic gardens, Skyrail and railway to Kuranda Rainforest is only a short 10 minute drive from the home.
